Sar-El instructor (Madrihat Sar-El)
«Sar-El» is a program for volunteers from Israel and abroad. Being a part of this program, volunteers provide help at TZAHAL army bases. Instructors of this program (women) accompany volunteers during their stay in the army, coordinate their actions and help to establish contact with commanders.
In addition to this, the responsibilities of Madrihat Sar-El include preparing the base in order to receive volunteer groups, gathering information about forthcoming tasks and activities, and the necessary equipment preparation. Soldier-instructors arrange medical service, meals and accommodation for volunteers during all the period of volunteering activity and also organize lectures and tours of Israel.
→The training course is 7 weeks long.
→There is a possibility to enroll in leadership and officer courses during the term of service.
Placement at bases (closed ones) all over the country
Requirements:
Placement according to the preliminary tests results (Yom aMea) or by the sorting officer (Katzin Miyun)
Knowledge of foreign languages at a high level (one foreign language at least) – priority is given to English, Russian, French and Spanish.
