Chemical laboratory technician (Ovedet maabada khimit)
It is a position for women in the Medical Corps of the Israeli army. Soldiers who are on duty in a chemical laboratory perform a wide range of chemical analysis involving fuel, lubricants, military grade chemical agents and other kinds of chemicals.
Within the service, soldiers use different kinds of laboratory tools to test samples that are applied by the army and in military machinery (aircrafts, sea-crafts, ground equipment etc.).
→The training course is about 5 weeks.
→Placement at bases all over the country.
Requirements:
Placement according to the preliminary tests results (Yom aMea) or by the sorting officer (Katzin Miyun)
Knowledge in chemistry/biotechnology (knowledge acquired at school or at some courses/training)
