Video editor (Yahidat ha-Asrata)
A specialized position for women in the Israeli Army, in which soldiers edit clips, presentations, video tutorials, informative pieces, film soldiers’ off-duty lives. There are several branches in the “Asrata” unit such as graphics, directing, editing, animation etc.
→The training courses depend on the specialization.
→The selection process consists of several stages that include tests, practical courses and personal interviews. Competitive selection for these positions is conducted once a year, in order to take part in it one should sign up via the army website “Olim al madim” or through the recruitment administration (Meitav)
Requirements:
Portfolio of works with video/graphics
Work experience or courses/studies in this sphere
