Shaldag

An elite anti-terrorist unit assigned to the Air Force. One of the tasks of the unit is “Target illumination” which assists the high precision systems of Air Force aircrafts. They also record high priority targets behind enemy lines being hit and eliminated.

→ The training lasts for 22 months and the soldiers must sign a year and a half’s contract of service.

→ Selection is completed by attending «Yom Sayarot» (Special forces testing day) and passing «Gibbush» in order to be assigned to the General Staff elite unite (Sayeret Matkal) with an additional selection to the Shaldag unit.

Psychometric score not less than 52 (Kaba)
Security clearance (Sivug Bithoni)
