The computer center of information technologies or “Mamram” for short is a TZAHAL department which is related to the technological unit of the Israeli Army (Heil Tikshuv). The Bardelas battalion was recently established — in 2014 the battalion staffing started and in 2016 the soldiers of the first Bardelas draft got light green berets. This infantry battalion is staffed by men and women who carry out combat duty: they patrol the borders, conduct detention and pursuit of perpetrators, fight against terror and do many other things. The soldiers of this infantry unit perform their duty on the border with Egypt.
→The training includes basic military training and combat training 07 (Rovai) based at Golani (including manipulation skills of different weapons types, physical training, camouflage trickery and the art of warfare in the field).
→The professional training is 4 months long.

To get into this unit, one should inform the sorting officer at the interview (Katsin miyun) or choose it while filling in the form sent by the army (Manila).

Military investigators are part of the Military police Corps. The responsibilities of “Balashim” include the following duties:
1. Monitoring and data collection
2. Surveillance
3. Searching properties and suspects
4. Detection and capture of soldiers who are absent without leave
5. Conducting investigations, secretly or publicly (both at civilian sites and military facilities)
→The training consists of several stages: a 6-week course of basic military training followed by a range of professional courses, such as a week’s course on work placement at the civilian police or a hand-to-hand combat class at Wingate Sports Institute.
The level of secrecy is very high and soldiers are supposed to wear civilian clothes during the period of service.Requirements:

The sphere of activity of “Mishtara Tzva’it” unit is very wide: soldiers who conduct their duties as military policemen have law enforcement functions, control TZAHAL soldiers’ appearance and their discipline while they are away from the base, they escort arrested people to court, control border-crossing points, catch criminals and a lot more. Moreover, there are traffic accident investigators.

As the name suggests Madrich Tzniha delivers parachute jumps courses for Paratrooper units of the Israeli Defense Force. The jump masters’ responsibilities also include combat equipment landing operations and delivering courses on high-altitude parachute jumps.

“Madag” carries out athletic training in the units assigned and gives lectures about sports and physical training, both for soldiers and officers. As an addition to the basic course it is possible to take instructor courses in spinning, Pilates, etc., during the service term.(more…)
