Security officers (Meavhenet Bithoni – maavarim) – women
Security officers are part of Military Police Corps. «Meavhenet Bithoni” service takes place on border-crossing points and passages between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Soldiers who serves in this unit are tasked with the searching and seizing of cargo and individuals who threaten the country and citizens’ security either in a terroristic or criminal nature.
→Together with the 6-week course of basic military training, soldiers follow many additional courses such as hand-to-hand combat, psychology, searching for and detection of forged documents.
Requirements:
Placement according to the preliminary tests results (Yom aMea) or by the sorting officer (Katzin Miyun)
