Medic (Hoveshet) – women
For women who want to gain medical experience while serving in the Israeli army there are several positions and that of military medic is one of them. As part of service “Hovesh” women take in patients, carry out primary inspection, administer drugs, and complete documentation for soldiers.
Serving as a medic means direct communication with doctors, teamwork, assisting with emergency surgery, teaching first aid and studying medicinal drugs.
→The course is 10 weeks long, which includes theoretical and practical sessions.
→The selection to the Hovshim course is made before conscription and consists of group simulation and personal interviews.
Assignment to medical points of TZAHAL unit bases (“Mirpaot”) It is possible to be enrolled in officer courses.
Requirements:
Placement according to the preliminary tests results (Yom aMea)
