Israel prison service (SHABAS) – women
Other positions for women in the TZAHAL are available in SHABAS («Sherut Batei HaSohar »). There are several roles in the Israel prison service including:
1. Duty officer at the prison
2. Search operations officer
3. Patroller
4. Surveillance and computer systems operator
→Service deals with stressful situations, providing security and order in military prisons.
→The training includes an 8-week prison guard course (Soarim).
→Placement at the place of residence.
Conditions of service — a day in the army, three days at home.
Requirements:
Placement according to the preliminary tests results (Yom aMea) or by the sorting officer (Katzin Miyun)
