Criminal investigation officer (Hoker plili)

Military investigators for criminal situations are in the Military Police Corps. “Hoker’s” responsibilities include proceedings associated with breaching the Criminal code: thefts, sex-related crimes, drugs consumption and sale, corruption practices, etc. They also directly manage cases, arrest and question individuals involved and who are an accessory, and transfer suspects to the Army Prosecuting Authority. →The training includes a 6-week basic military training, and a 10-week investigator course. →The service in the capacity of a military investigator for criminal issues will further help in case of employment under public authority. Military Investigator (Balash Tzvai)

Military investigators are part of the Military police Corps. The responsibilities of “Balashim” include the following duties: 1. Monitoring and data collection 2. Surveillance 3. Searching properties and suspects 4. Detection and capture of soldiers who are absent without leave 5. Conducting investigations, secretly or publicly (both at civilian sites and military facilities) →The training consists of several stages: a 6-week course of basic military training followed by a range of professional courses, such as a week’s course on work placement at the civilian police or a hand-to-hand combat class at Wingate Sports Institute. The level of secrecy is very high and soldiers are supposed to wear civilian clothes during the period of service. Air Force Defense Instructor (Mashak itgonenut be Heil havir)

It is a position in TZAHAL. The Air Force Defense Instructor is responsible for the preparation of the base where he conducts his duty, various emergency and combat situations. Emergency situations Instructor (Mashak Hilutz ve hatzala)

A position for men in TZAHAL related to Homeland Command (Hilutz ve atzala). In peacetime the main task of the emergency instructor is to conduct lessons and train the military personnel of the unit. Military police (Mishtara Tzva’it) – women

MishtaraZvaitThe “Mishtara Tzva’it” unit’s sphere of activities is very large: women who conduct their duties as military policemen have law enforcement duties and keep a check of TZAHAL soldiers’ appearance and their discipline while away from the base.
