Military police corps (Mishtara Tzva’it)
The sphere of activity of “Mishtara Tzva’it” unit is very wide: soldiers who conduct their duties as military policemen have law enforcement functions, control TZAHAL soldiers’ appearance and their discipline while they are away from the base, they escort arrested people to court, control border-crossing points, catch criminals and a lot more. Moreover, there are traffic accident investigators.
→Soldiers take basic military training for 6 months and then take a 4-week military policeman course.
Requirements:
One should select Mishtara Tzva’it first on the pre-conscription questionnaire (Manila) or inform the Katzin Miyun
