Air Defense Force (Agana Avirit) – women
The Air Defense Force soldiers protect the airspace of Israel from invasion with the help of different weapon systems (the Hook, the Patriot, the Hetz, the Iron Dome). What is more, women who serve in Agana Avirit (former NunMem) study modern technological systems of detection and reporting.
→The training includes basic military training 03 and professional training which is 17 weeks long.
→The term of military service in this unit is 32 months (women sign a contract to extend their service term from 24 to 32 months).
Requirements:
Medical profile 82-97
Passing screening examinations: a two day tryout (Miun Lohamot)
Security clearance (Sivug Bithoni)
