Video editor (Yahidat ha-Asrata) – men
A specialized position for men in the Israeli Army where soldiers edit clips, produce presentations, conduct video tutorials, create informative clips, and film soldiers’ off-duty lives. There are several branches in the “Asrata” unit such as graphics, directing, editing, animation, etc.
→There are different training courses depending on the specialization.
→The selection process consists of several stages which include tests, practical courses and personal interviews. Competitive selection for these positions is conducted once a year. In order to take part in it one should sign up via the army website “Olim al madim” or through the recruitment administration (Meitav).
Requirements:
Portfolio of works with video/graphics
Work experience or courses/studies in this sphere
