Canine handlers in the Air Force or «tipul ve iluf klavim» take care of the dogs and training at Israeli Air Force Bases. The position of “Kalbanim Heil havir” perfectly suit women who like dogs and are eager to take care of animals throughout their military service. It is a rare but an interesting job for women in TZAHAL, being a guide at the Air Force museum Hatzerim (near Beer Sheba). Soldiers’ responsibilities include studying the museum exhibit items, conducting excursions for soldiers and civilians, briefing sessions for museum visitors.
