Marom Dolphin Shayetet 13 GEN 4 Plate Carrier

The Shayetet Vest Gen 4 is a well-established platform that has been continuously refined over the years based on real field feedback. It maintains the concept of a compact, lightweight, and modular vest, designed for situations that require agility without unnecessary bulk. Building on the success of previous generations (Gen 1 and 2), it features improved internal padding, dual-lock quick-release buckles, and low-profile shoulder straps that enhance weapon handling and control.

The lower front section includes an integrated “kangaroo” pouch for three rifle magazines, secured with an elastic retention cord for fast access. Above it, a 6×3 MOLLE panel allows for modular expansion with additional pouches as needed. A Velcro panel for tactical identification is positioned above the magazine area, along with two dedicated straps for attaching a communication control unit.

The sides feature ventilated panels with an elastic cord adjustment system, allowing precise fit adjustments for different body sizes, clothing layers, and gear—without restricting movement. The inner side combines breathable mesh, dedicated foam padding, and a soft-touch fabric, along with an internal airflow channel for enhanced comfort during prolonged use.

The back of the vest maintains a clean and functional layout, with MOLLE webbing and Velcro panels for attaching packs and accessories, as well as a dedicated rear compartment for a hydration bladder that can also serve as general storage. The vest is updated with a detachable shoulder strap system and new shoulder design that enables quick attachment and release of connected packs.
