The Commando Vest was originally developed for the Commando Brigade as an advanced load-bearing platform, based on the Amran vest and the Hashmonai plate concept—while introducing a completely new approach to the front design. Its key advantage is a fully modular front that enables clean, precise configuration of loadouts בהתאם to mission requirements. במהלך the “Iron Swords” war, the vest underwent further field-driven adaptations, including an internal retention system for SAPI plates (25×30 cm), which have become a widely used solution in place of traditional Hashmonai plates.
