Ops Core Fast XP High Cut Helmet System

The FAST XP helmet raises the bar for ballistic performance against higher-velocity 9mm pistol threats. Its shell is slightly thicker than the SF model, delivering an additional 205 ft/s of protection for a 124-gr 9mm round, at the cost of only 0.28 lb added shell weight.

• External VELCRO® Loop Kit: Fast, user-friendly attachment points for head-borne accessories.
• Recessed Accessory Groove: Proprietary recessed channel accommodates over-the-head comms and other accessories without interference and allows donning/doffing without removing headsets.

• Performance Spec: Compliant with Gentex PS-1063 Specification and modified/abbreviated US Army ACH Helmet CO/PD 05-04:2007.
• NIJ: Meets NIJ 0106.01 and NIJ 0108.01 Level IIIA (9mm FMJ @ 1,400 ft/s) threat criteria.
• Fragmentation Protection: Tested per PS-1063 and MIL-STD-662F.
• 9mm Ballistic Performance: RTP and Backface Deformation (BFD) tested per PS-1063: 9mm FMJ (24 gr) at 1,400 ft/s (426 m/s) at 0° obliquity with BFD < 1.0 in (25.4 mm) on Right, Left, Crown, Front and Back.
• Blunt Impact: <150 G at 10 ft/s per ACH CO/PD 05-04:2007.
• Compression: Top-to-bottom deflection max 0.020” (0.51 mm) at 400 lb (181.44 kg); side-to-side max 0.125” (3.18 mm) at 300 lb (136.08 kg) per MICH Type II FQ/PD 06-35C:2013.
• Environmental Resistance: Rated for storage and operation at ambient, cold (-60°F / -51°C), and hot (+160°F / +71°C) temperatures; includes testing for temperature shock, flame resistance, altitude, vibration, seawater and field-agent exposure, and weathering per ACH CO/PD 05-04:2007.
