Foreign Relations (Kishrei Chutz) – women
It is an interesting post in Israeli army for women, who want to gain experience in foreign relations. A coordinator for foreign relations is responsible for communicating with armies of other countries and a vaiety of international and peace organizations. The main tasks of “Mashakit Kishur leKohot Zarim” or just “Kishrei Chutz” consists of receiving and transmitting information between TZAHAL and any foreign bodies.
Moreover, coordinators organize international visits and provide escorts for foreign representatives, for example the UN. International trips may be possible in the capacity of Israeli army escort.
→The education training is 6,5 weeks long.
→It is possible to earn a promotion to the instructor courses and to enroll in officer courses along the lines of “Diplomacy”.
Placement at open and closed bases.
Requirements:
Placement according to the preliminary tests results (Yom aMea) or by the sorting officer (Katzin Miyun)
Mandatory knowledge of English. Knowledge of other foreign languages is desirable
Security clearance (Sivug Bithoni)
