Section commander in non-combat units (Mak tironim)
There is a good opportunity for men in TZAHAL to experience the role of a commander. “Makim tironim” are responsible for all aspects of basic military training (Tironut) of course participants.
→The training of unit commanders takes 22 weeks and includes basic military training (Rovaeii 03) followed by an additional training course which is designed to enhance experience and knowledge required for the role of commander.
→After finishing the course the assignment to basic military training bases of non-combat units takes place.
