Press-attaché (Dover TZAHAL)
An important position, established for TZAHAL promotion in Israel and all over the world. Soldiers in this position cooperate with representatives of local and international media, cover important events, Israeli Defense Forces activities and deal with social networks. It is possible to travel abroad while serving.
→The training course lasts 2 months. Placement all over the country (both in the central part and on Israeli borders), in open and closed military bases depending of the “Shibutz” (placement).
→The selection to «Dover Tzahal» is conducted before recruitment during army seminars on «Information and media». In order to take part in them one needs to sign up via the army website “Olim al madim” or through the recruitment administration (Meitav, tel. 03-7388888).
Candidates selected to the post will be invited for tests to the main office of the radio station. The next stage involves a personal interview and placement according to the areas of activity. Applicants are informed about the final results within several months by written notification.
Requirements:
Competence in several languages, ability to present oneself in front of an audience.
Work experience or courses/studies in this area of activity.
