Canine handlers (Oketz)
The soldiers of this unit perform their duty with specially trained dogs.
The dogs training can include:
1. Explosives detection
2. Combativity
3. Search training
4. Rescue training
→The training lasts for one year and four months.
→For men the selection starts after their placement to the Kfir Brigade
Requirements:
Medical profile 82-97
Psychometric score not less than 52 (Kaba)
